>> Israel Velasco was named south Florida executive for Banco Popular North America. Velasco was previously president and CEO for Colonial Bank's south Florida region.

>> Medallist Developments tapped Greg Bielli as executive vice president to oversee management and development of its real estate communities from the Jupiter offices of the Australia-based real estate developer. Bielli was previously president of MCO Properties in Fountain Hills, Ariz.

A crowd cheered and took photos as two loggerhead sea turtles slowly made their way through the sand and into the Atlantic Ocean. Monday's turtle release marked the end of their rehabilitation at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach, Florida.
